Yesterday Charles Benette, which is the first B of BB84 protocol of Quantum Cryptography, held a conference in ENST Paris. A funny guy, lecture titled Quamtum Computing and Quantum Communication, he appeared to be cool with those complicated physical theories.

 

Quantum stuffs, especially Quantum Computers, are namely feasible, in the coming 20 years. Theories are to be imagined, works are to be done. Could I expect to see the first Quantum Computer?

 

Talking about the dimensions, actually the 4-Dimensions has already become a subconscious mind.

Actually when we are contemplating the passage of time, the time passage is going on its own routine... the question is "whether we change the time, or time changes us?"

买来了single photon detectors已经放了2，3个星期了

借口价格昂贵一直下不了手，其实是人懒而已

而raymeone上星期上了一周的课，也已经9天没有下过楼了

总算今天和marcia开工了

忙了大半天接上了attanuated pulse laser source，研究出来其实这个东西还是很好用地

选用了2MHz的repetition period，pulse width 4 ns

detectors那边设置了 width 5ns， dead time none，再连上trigger以后就可以看到结果了

 

结果是在1 photon/bit 下的 quantum efficiency是 99.4%。。。

简单说就是99.4%的光子都被探测到而且被精确地counted了，顿时对id quantique公司太仰慕崇拜了

 

原来人类科学家的能力已经到了几乎能够抓住每个光子的地步了，

看来raymeone要做的research果然不是bullshit阿
